Hi XXXXXXX,
Thanks for being patient while I was away. Had a family emergency and just got back an hour ago.
With regards to the plan to deliver information, the company will have a Twitter and Facebook account which will give us the ability to deliver insight on what is happening within the company. We also plan on releasing press releases on a more regular basis, not once every 6 months.
With regards to the final stages of negotiation, I hated that phrase too. It’s not really specific, but the contract that we have with the company is such that we can not provide anyone any information with regards to the company, the process, etc. In order to tell you guys that the acquisition is progressing nicely we had to be general.
In my humble opinion, final stages means that a purchase and sale agreement has been drafted, the two parties are discussing the exact terms. I can not tell you for sure if that is where the company is because I don’t know. Intentionally. If I knew I could slip and say something and cause inside information to be disseminated. Or say the wrong thing and have bad information come out.
Hope this helps, and thanks for being patient. I had to help my parents get from Florida to NY State and arrange for in home nursing care for my mother. She is a dimentia patient, and recently fractured her hip, causing 2 surgeries. The anesthesia caused the disease to progress to a point she was unmanageable for my father.
Sincerely yours,
Briggs Smith
