It is all about the "sweets spot" in particle size.
In the past the production of particles were from a wide variety of size, and only the smallest particles are used in AM.
Most of the produced particles (bigger particles) had to be reprocessed to wire.
And that is the big improvement Pyro has made for the system.
This improvement of the system can raise the saleable production with 20 / 30 / 40%?

Most powders used in AM have specifications of -45µm/+15µm, and they are the most expensive

A. Most certainly. Last year alone, we invested approximately CAD 2MM into improvements in
both production rate and particle size distribution. In other words, by increasing the amount of
powder we can produce per hour, and the amount of powder that is within the “sweet spot”
used in Additive Manufacturing. These improvements were in fact the very reason we decided
to strategically move away from selling powder production systems and decide to enter into the
powder producing market ourselves.
