Not necessarily. I suspect there will be big dump days like Friday that are followed by a few days of much lower volume to bring the pps up a bit before the next big dump.
Plus they would rather sell into news when there are more buyers to sell to.

A few bottom feeders will probably show up and work it abit. They love big drops on big volume.

Wonder if Chris and his crew went to that Hearthstone Marathon tournament.
