Why bash at 0.0001?

I asked myself that a few times. here is my guess. Is it to keep the price low, as low as possible, to assist in covering short positions or to accumulate new long positions? Or, rather, is it because there are all of these wonderful "educators" out there wanting to make sure we know where the scam stocks are on pink sheets, as they seem to claim that they do.
