I've only watched half of it so far (it's about 3 hours) and so far he speaks out clearly against war, all wars. He was actively involved in protest during Vietnam and was even arrested during one of those protests.

Yet votes for someone promising 40,000 more troops be sent to Iraq? and encourages others to do so. Does the emperor have clothes on?

Many of us saw Kerry as the best hope of exiting the war already in progress more quickly (whether that would have been the case or not is another question).

EXIT? How is an immediate adding of 40,000 more troops and EXIT? or the start of an EXIT? OR in anyway at all related to an EXIT. Maybe I have been overseas to much and forgeting my English but If I remember right 40,000 MORE troops would be an INCREASE not an EXIT or the start of an EXIT.

I have not even mentioned his statements immediately after the election in support of Bush's handling of the war.

Why did anyone ever expect a senator who is an heir to the Billions of the Heinz fortune to be a radical and promise 40,000 more trrops to the war and then go back on his word and start withdrawl. Maybe if someone could describe the clothes the emperor has on I might have an easier time seeing them.

I am not saying Chomsky has not said some good things before. Just curious how that squares with him voting for a pro war candidate while opposing all wars.
