This is exactly why Leo decided to run the smaller Phase 2 trials first. By spending several millions in short trials such as B-UP, P P2b and K-OC, he could get 10x more in upfront payments. Leo is trying to maximize shareholder value by taking the trials as far as he can.

Protagonist $125 million if it moves the drug into phase 2b and a further $200 million if it sticks with the asset after getting a look at data from the trial.
