It may have been a "finalized and closed contract" but remember that we are dealing with a UAE entity, and things are done differently over there than here. We are a very litigious society in this country and I think historically deals have transpired by "handshake" type agreements in the Middle East, traditionally a very "closed" society. Even if we have a signed contract, it may be that negotiations during and after the consummation are handled a bit differently. I certainly don't see Petar Vucicevich threatening to sue Ramada over their recission of this contract, if indeed that is what transpired, but he can hopefully work it out through his close Arab connections in a quiet manner and come to some agreement to save the deal. Let's hope so.
