I found this article and thought it was interesting since the 12th is the start of c.t.i.a,coincidence? or another dot...hmmm

****************************************************************
September 12 is next week and Apple may have something to say once that date arrives. After all, it was about this time last year that Apple introduced the iPod nano to the world, which was a risky bet since the nano was meant to replace the company's best-selling iPod mini digital audio player. As what seems like standard practice, the nano took off on a wildfire run and continued to help Apple build its market lead for digital music players above the competition for yet another year.

2006 has seen many competitors wake up after years of being asleep and realize that cheap prices and cheap designs don't garner the dollars of younger adults who crave the iPod product line like a pet. Cost, although the iPod universe has become relatively very affordable, was not the only factor in the purchasing decision.

Creative continues to make strides with better-looking and well-designed MP3 music players, as does SanDisk, whose recent Sansa line looks to give the iPod nano a huge run for the money. These competitors, for some reason, continue to think the iTunes integration with the iPod universe is a far consideration, but I feel that is a fatal mistake. So far it sure has been.

With a rumored Apple announcement slated for next week on September 12th then, what does Apple have up its sleeve.

Will Apple be refreshing its iPod line, which has not seen an update since February? How about the MacIntosh world? With Apple machines now able to run the Apple MacOS operating system as well as Microsoft's Windows, the PC industry has been a little weirder for a while and it may become even more strange next week. We'll all see what is in store for Apple next week. New product guesses anyone? Stock rise guesses anyone
