That's listed as an Inclusion but it has the opposite effect that you note...it act to exclude alternative treatments which are less likely to cause the condition.

I imagine that this "pickiness" has an even greater benefit when the treatment is preventative. There's already a pre-existing statistical risk because the population isn't certain to develop the condition.
