Or maybe they don't want the f-ing note holder dumping into the upcoming news. So, they let the noteholder out absorb the short term pain that comes with a lower stock price. Don't update the filings till it over. Note holder out of shares. Then bang hit the market with exciting news and update the filings. Hmmm! Sounds like a great plan. It's what I would have done.
