He also notes that the needed infrastructure and skills already exist on the Iron Range. “You really couldn’t pick a better place to build a new mine,” he says.
- The ”Women on the Iron Range” article that includes LaTisha Gietzen, our Director of Public and Community Affairs. LaTisha, a Hibbing native and a fourth-generation Iron Range miner, talks about the changes in the workforce she has seen over the last 20 years in the mining industry.
