There is a difference in getting promoted, and "getting promoted upstairs".. I think (don't quote me) that Abraham Lincoln was promoted upstairs and he turned out to be a pretty nice head honcho..

Seriously, wasn't Jim already the Chairman of the Board when Chuck became CEO? I thought Chuck became CEO and Jim 'remained' COB at the time? Please correct me if I am wrong but that's how I remember it.
