But, VXX is holding its own in the face of the SP move, and is putting in a reversal pattern ( candle ) today. That said, VXX has been known to show reversal and drop further. However, it did fill the GAP owed yesterday, and this recent drop back from the afore move up is part in parcel of larger pattern seen when VXX is poised to make a substantial move ( up, fall back , drop just below the last start point, consolidate a bit with one or several bottom holds ( generally doji like candles ) then move up even higher than the previous height ). I think we see VXX 20 in the near term.
