And it's not as simple as you think. You are forgetting, the debt was for $1,847,727.25 and it sold for just $325,000.00 frown which would be applied towards that debt. That would leave a "deficiency balance" of $1,522,727.25 (and I'm pretty sure interest is added daily, not positive though.) Thus his wife (Red Mansion, LLC) still owes a TON on it. But, pretty sure a BK might be a way out. smile

P.S. Oh, forgot about the insurance claim though. Oh well, too late for a settlement now and money to be used for the auction. But that's another matter.
