Ballistic shootpacks will stop a bullet with the help of plates. Kevlar also depends on plates. As I understand it our advantage is elasticity and weight. Kevlar is heavier and breaks.

I think there may be other options involving weaving our material with other unnamed material that may be the answer to strength and weight. Charlie has the answer to that.

Silkroad I agree with you completely that we appear to be dragging our feet. There could be many reasons for that . Some good and some bad , but there has to be a reason. Time will definitely give many answers we are awaiting.
