They both suck for pennies. Options Express.....it kicks them both in the teeth for execution, not to mention you will not be front run by etrades own MMs. I have multiple accounts for various instruments (futures/commodities/stock/pennies) and all usually execute one more than others. For pennies, I have not found a more hassle free option...not to mention their execution is extremely fast compared to any other brokerage I have worked with...they are not shy about getting the best price from the MMs and have never perceived being front run...where on the other hand, had numerous sweep trades and the like hit me when I traded with Scottrade. ETrade just has too many exceptions and bulky to me. Options is cheap, flat fee with superb execution, along with outstanding customer/desk support....
