What you are not acknowledging is that the manufacturing hurdle is essential to complete this scheme.

The inability to manufacture allows "credible" reasoning as to why they were unable to secure additional financing and therefore are unable to continue this venture.

"The cides worked fine and as described, but the manufacturing hurdles were insurmountable and at the current valuation, additional financing was not a viable option."

Wait for it.
