We already know enough money to drill at least 3 holes was raised from private placements during that campaign. If Briscoe really thought he had 22% Brisbee like ore as he touted to the suckers at his micro-gossan, he would have dropped those holes on on it, the the money would pour in.

But it is very, very telling that he CHOOSE not to do that. And the only rational reason is that there is nothing there and those results would have killed the scam of Hay Mountain deader than a doornail.
