Well a few posts back PFS posted an explaination that explains the point better than I could.

As for the "theft" I have not asked but in my experience with vendors screwing up and my own screw ups as a vendor there is 1 thing that happens EVERY TIME.

I call the customer and tell them. Then I ship what I made correctly along with 100% of their damaged property.

If a vendor screws up and doesn't send me back my damaged property I would be on the phone asking for it.

Maybe you should ask Ben if the damaged silk was returned before jumping to that conclusion.
