They could've declared the contract null and void and with Medinah having no means of keeping the claims up to date, they could've scooped them up as soon as Medinah defaulted on their tax obligations. JJ was quite adept at doing that behind Medinah N.A.'s and Cerro Dorado's back.

Also, knowing that MDMN didn't have the means to fund the recent cash call, Auryn didn't have to offer them a 0% reprieve loan and could've forced MDMN to surrender the equivalent ownership in Auryn back to Auryn.

I'm sure there are other options at Auryn's disposal if the relationship were adversarial. Fortunately for MDMN shareholders, it is not...thanks to Kevin.
