Great analogy.

I was just looking at some of the more unusual symbols for breadth at stockcharts.com (I believe one was called breadth thrust), and thinking we might not go down so fast. In fact, every time a negative breadth thrust hit on the weekly - and there aren't so many - there was a strong up move for at least a week and a half before (usually) an equal, or more than equal, down move.

We just hit a negative breadth thrust on the daily and also on the weekly.

Next week is the new moon (bullish), but also, moon is in perigee (closest to earth = more emotional and possibly bearish), interesting mix, maybe lots of chop.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out short term.

Ps: OK, I have to admit it, for a second there I thought you called me an old cow.
