So Canada gets to grow hemp but not US?

What exactly does everyone not get about "$ 600,000,000+" in HEMP PRODUCTS imported annually to the USA.

That's actually $600mln in US retail sales... not imports. IOW, we (the US) consume the most hemp in the world, but US farmers cannot supply the goods domestically.

Why, Gailm? Why have farmers not been able to grow hemp in the US for several decades, even though the US consumes the most hemp? Why are we not able to make the goods that we consume?

C'mon... you can do it. Think about it, but don't hurt yourself.

If you come to the correct answer, you will then realize things have been changing quite rapidly in this emerging industry.

And feel free to try and explain how Canada can beat US on price... always welcome free laughs...
