Some people might have expected Trump to change into something he is not, but I believe most of us who voted for him had a pretty good idea what we were voting for. If anyone really expected something different, I have some wonderful beachfront property for sale. Here is why I and a whole bunch of other people voted for him, just so it is clear.
1. No way, no how, Hillary for president.
2. No way to a liberal anti gun supreme court justice, which was guaranteed if she won.
3. someone who was not a politician, and who would challenge the established and entrenched in Washington.
4. We knew going in that the press wanted Hillary and hated him. They did everything they could to swing the election her way, and they failed. Did anyone expect them to change?
5. We wanted much of Obama's "legacy" gone. We still do.
6. For a change, he would bring business sense to DC.
There were more reasons why he won and she lost.
His "mouth" won him the election. Being a polished Washington insider was one of the things that lost it for Hllary. I think some beflieve all of what the liberal press writes and broadcasts, viewing nothing out of the NY Times or WaPo with even a tiny bit of scepticism. For example, it seems most people took Comey's "memo" to himself as gospel without a smidgen of doubt. It was in the headlines, so it must be true. I can write whatever I want to write when I want to write it. So can Comey.
