In this specific example, the concern you have for "the size of the pane" is irrelevant.

All WNDW wanted to prove was the technology would still produce power after being exposed to the intense heat during the glass manufacturing process.

Of note,

subsequent performance testing confirmed that the modules continued to produce power

. WNDW did not confirm power was produced at the same levels prior and post manufacturing. The answer to that seems to have been conspicuously omitted.

What WNDW definitely hasn't done is let us know what milestones continue to stand in front of commercial production.

A checklist of milestones would be nice. It would be our measuring stick.
