To be fair to Chris, the article includes more than just my primary research -- it includes both the points that I e-mailed him as well as the follow-on perspectives of a source in Mongolia. He prefaces all this by saying:

This update on Mongolian Mining Corporation is the result of intel from multiple trusted sources, none of whom will be mentioned for obvious reasons.

This update is an unusual one as I was trying to determine how best to present to you the intel I’ve been gathering on Mongolian Mining Corporation. In the end, I’ve decided to provide it unvarnished and granular.

That being said, his second sentence strikes me as perhaps a little disingenuous. I'm not sure that "copying and pasting" e-mails that you receive is the same as "gathering" intel.

Then again, I e-mailed my research to him (and to his source, ironically enough) willingly and without preconditions, so perhaps he's justified to repackage it as he sees fit. That's why I'm letting it go.
