Taking action may produce positive results - I have sent this to every journalist who has honestly covered FNMA. So far, only Gretchen Morgenson has responded as she is sympathetic to the individual shareholder.

"I writing you to express how much my family appreciates your honest and diligent reporting on the GSE's saga.

My wife was employed at Freddie Mac from 2006 to 2012, therefore we acquired a lot of common shares in our 401K and our children's college fund. After 2008 we watched our retirement account tank like many other people, however I knew how important the GSEs were to our economy and I trusted that our government would do the right thing. Based on the definition of a conservator, knowing how important the GSEs are and trusting our government, I purchased many more shares in what I thought was a shrewd investment decision. Only time will tell if I was correct.

Myself and every shareholder owes you a debt of gratitude for standing up against some very powerful people who do not want the truth to be made public. I hope the 11,000 documents expose corruption at the highest level and you are praised and rewarded for your honest journalism. I also hope that you feel a sense of personal satisfaction - the best reward of all.
