The order was given to a broker who did NOT make a market in the stock. Therefore, the order was routed through a broker that is called "ex clearing'....over 100 K shares needs to be bought or sold in this manner. If its under 100 K shares, the broker can use a MM such as CDEL, NITE or ETRD without any markups...so to answer your question...the order was probably routed through VNDM....who printed the 0051 buy and then marked the stock out slightly higher back to the broker....in this case ....the broker clears through Core Capital....and they KEEP the difference. So the MM VNDM made the spread. Hope that helps.
