Have you consider that fact that titan could be slowing down in order to try to navigate the ISRG patents. Possibly they are looking for a clear path which I assume is very tough.

and that they need to show the robot as little as possible to try to navigate to FDA without giving intuitive a opportunity to squash with legal battles.

mergers are unlikely prior to FDA, but they will need someone big with them if they are smart enough to see that a possible fight is immanent. I don't think any merger would happen until FDA for this reason. but i do in fact hope they know they need one.

You can force a hand though if your robot is not FDA approved
