Police in Saratoga Springs, NY, arrested two men for allegedly breaking into a vending machine at a Holiday Inn. Nicholas Lord and John Rotondi allegedly broke into the hotel's vending machine, stealing the money container and its contents from within the machine. The container and the tools used to break into the machine were subsequently located inside their car. Both men were arraigned and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail.
Cashless vending could end this sort of crime.
