From experience, I can tell you that submitting a report does not drop the stop flag. They take time to review it, ask questions, and get answers. It could be a month after submission. Best to just wait till it drops than to try to predict, because none of us knows exactly what it takes to get current.
Better to stay current than to try to catch up after being flagged.
