I wouldn't think they have enough product to start their own unless they partnered so I would assume the latter as well.

The possible reason for the investment bankers is that if he goes live with a decent MLM group the volume would be overwhelming. He needs capital for uptick of production. Money for Logistics to MLM distribution facilities and proper accounting.
