If i am not mistaken this utility patent application is one of a "Family Of applications" The benefits are using claims in one or the other, one down side is they lost the first to file on the added "New Claims"

North can prob shed some light on this, obviously there is a waiting time for new applications they take years, I am pretty sure they can come to market as a " Patent Pending " ?? Drug applications may be different then other inventions
