my calculations

5 ,000,000 roofs get replaced in US per year
Average roof is 1500 square foot -- at $21.35 per square foot
that is 32K

if Tesla gets just 5% of this market
250 K homes a year
x 32K per roof
= 8 billion in revenue per year.

Tesla total revenue in 2016 was 7 billion

That doesn't include new home construction -- I am sure that within a year every new high end home built will include option for Tesla solar roofing
