It's actually funny...here, folks get very nervous about ordering beer at lunch during work hours. When we have our London counterparts visiting, they have no reservation about ordering beer during lunch. In fact, taking 1 to 2 hour lunch at the pub a few times a month is not out of the ordinary they tell us. This may explain why all production issues are forwarded to the NY offices during that time and a bit after...lol. I have to do a review of some code out of the London office to see if there is a correlation to these outtings and an increase in bugs...heh.
