A decently run service companies (restaurants, hotels, bnb's, etc.) are making a profit within 3-4 months. 6 months at the outside.

If a service business isn't making a profit within 12 months it's time to realize it's not gonna happen and give up.

since MJMJ leased excisting operational BnBs their profits should have and could have happened immediately, as they could continue to service existing traffic without changing a single thing.

The fact that this company has ALWAYS operated at a loss proves that Joel is just terrible at running a business, and probably in large part because he's sucking out lots of money to pay himself and his family large wages.
