I doubt that they would have asked for additional tests if they didn't have doubts about the technology...If they even "asked".

However, since we have no idea what these additional tests were for or how long it will take to run the tests we are all just speculators without a real clue as to whether they were actually requested or if CCTC just needed to finish more required tests to have a finalized application for DOE funds.

Personally I am hoping the additional tests show CCTC can turn PRB Coal into .999 pure platinum... It is just as plausable as any other theories people post about these tests and what they are for.
