Having a degree has nothing to do with being smart. It provides the tools to advance one's self mentally. I myself have 2 post-grad degrees in Engineering and own a lucrative Consulting Corporation. Nothing I learned in school directly helped me understand penny stocks. However learning deductive reasoning and scientific thought allowed me to realize this stock was a scam about 3 years ago. First flag was the principals had prior SEC sanctions. Second was how do people working at a waste disposal company have the knowledge to run a financial corporaton? Next was the MBE contract which had to be meaningless since they are almost all indepenent operations and make their own decisions on whether to carry payday loans. Next was Matrix which came out of the blue from DeMArtini's house and was incorporated in Nevada the same day that PCBM announced they aquired them and their "two income streams". If it doesn't start to smell by then, you have to be pretty stupid. Then as you question MBEs and realize there aren't but 1 or 2 in Florida carrying the product, you know you've been had. Now put 2 and 2 together and know that almost all Payday loan operations in Florida are mafia controlled (60 minutes did a great show on just that in 2000). Note that except for Hall, all the principals names from the T/A to the CEO's names end in A, E, I or O and you have another really big flag. Then having the company not file, not disclose what ever happened to this payday loan thing and instead they go buy a doog poop little used car lot also owned by someone whose name ends in O, with a lot of other interesting connections and you surely have to know you have been had by then. The final coup de grace is the Zero bid and millions of shares traded, indictments by the SEC and no filing. My God, at what point do you realize you've been made into fools. What am I saying here? NO you don't need an advanced education to figure when you've been f^^*, but you might have understood it sooner by good reasoning. Also, educated people make their money by thinking and planning. They don't throw all their money into overnight get rich quick schemes. I remember reading here once about someone who was going to use their profits to have a Mercedes. Well, friends I drive a new Mercedes 500 SLR but I earned it by being smart and working hard, not on a game of chance.
