However,
The events surrounding Rufus, Alexander and all the other players of this fiasco during that time did expose a blind spot in the over-sight of large brokerage institutions such as TDamerica Trade and Knight as well as others, and showed their vulnerability to fraudulent sells of shares from third and even forth party vandals, and as I’ve noted in the past, once they are on the hook and are struggling, in steps FINRA and the SEC to bail them out.
Any perceived dishonesty or like of trust in the very systems that govern this great financial state of capitalism we all must participate in to obtain the American dream, must be squashed, least everything will then start to fall apart.
At any rate, the events back then offered and provided a lot of learning to those involved as traders / investors and anyone commenting on the sidelines and following it all as it opened, progressed, stalled, and finally failed.............A lot was learned in the between(s).
Personally I recall going for being a millionaire, on paper, to barely squeaking out a 12k profit as it all dissolved quickly after the halt.......Lesson learned, always lock in profits...Greed feeds but it also can deceive....A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush, etc. etc...
And whatever did happen to Alexander and the others?........Ummm
