Before anyone latches onto that last bit, it was a joke....a bad joke. I did say "he has the perfect background". By that I meant that Robin Curtis has been involved in a number of "projects" involving waste and recycling, yet finding one that has succeeded has proven to be an exercise in futility for me. (That's the perfect background, right?)

The suggestion that there may be some issues in the man's history turned up pretty quickly on his linkedin page. It shows that he got a BS Degree from the University of Alabama, attending from 1969-'75.
Under Experience there is only one listing. It shows him as President/Founder of GenAgain Technologies, Inc., January 2010-Present.

That's it. Nothing else. 35 years of nothing. We knew more about James Tetrault.

So dig we must. And someone should ask CEO Heddle if he thinks PTOI should be added to this list. It's not intended to be detailed or comprehensive, just some things that interested people might be able to look into further.

From ZoomInfo:
"VP, Founder SynOil Fuels, Inc. 11208 Mountain Park Circle Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405 United States 205 345 8457 205 345 8457"
Google was only able to find one return attaching "Robin Curtis" to "SynOil Fuels". The address shown is a single family home (it appears again below). There was a SynOil Fuels, Inc incorporated in NV, but it was revoked in 2015 and there's no indication that he was involved with it, let alone Founder. He has never been an Officer of that company. Maybe there's another SynOil Fuels, Inc.

Robin Curtis, vice president of business development for Clean Earth, said the company had a facility in Anaheim, Calif., but decided to move it to Quitman County in Mississippi because more space was needed. The facility in Mississippi is owned by HMM.Curtis said they are now going through the permit phase with the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, and the facility should be operational in about a year. The Shreveport facility could be up and running in two to three years, as long as the company can obtain the proper contracts, permits and garner community support, Curtis added.

SHREVEPORT, LA (AP) - A Shreveport businessman wants to put a new recycling facility at his landfill in Shreveport.

Michael Harrelson and Clean Earth Solutions Inc. say the venture would require an investment of $50 million to $75 million and would employ up to 300 people.

But Harrelson and the city will have to settle three lawsuits that have been tied up in district court since 2006 before the project can move ahead. The lawsuits deal with zoning issues.

Harrelson said he wants the facility to be in Shreveport, but has alternate sites in Alexandria and Knoxville, Tenn.

Letter That Discusses Help With City Hall Problem Gets Attention
Part of the law enforcement investigation into whether some people at Shreveport City Hall had ulterior motives in shutting down a rock crusher and limiting operations of a landfill involves a letter that offers help with City Hall in return for a very large retainer. After getting tired of fighting City Hall over zoning issues, north Shreveport landfill owner Michael Harrelson said he hired the Rev. Artis Cash as a consultant last summer. Cash's job was to help him with public relations and make headway with city government officials. Cash met with City Councilman Calvin Lester -- whose district Harrelson's Russell Road landfill falls in -- and came back with a reply, Harrelson said. "He (Cash) said, 'We can get Calvin Lester's support but it's going to cost you $50,000," Harrelson said. Harrelson said he told his liaison to get something in writing. The next day, Harrelson said he got an e-mailed letter on the letterhead of Angela Smith -- the attorney for Alphonso Williams, Lester's co-defendant in a civil suit over damages done to a rock crusher that also had zoning problems with the city and that Lester wanted closed. The judge in that civil suit has found that Lester and Williams conspired to damage the property of the rock-crushing operation. The letter, dated July 23, 2008, offers legal services for zoning and permit applications in return for a $50,000 retainer fee and an hourly rate of $550 -- fees more than double what some of the top lawyers in Shreveport charge per hour. The letter was addressed to Harrelson's business partner, Robin Curtis of Clean Earth Solutions in Alabama. "I never discussed it with her and I never solicited her," Curtis said of Smith. "I never called her first, period." Harrelson said he sent word there was no deal but kept the letter. It has been turned over to Caddo Parish sheriff's investigators who are looking into why some people at City Hall wanted the rock crusher shut down. The investigation is also looking at efforts to limit operations at the landfill. The city owns its own landfill. Contacted by KTBS News today, Smith wouldn't comment when asked if she wrote the letter. Lester did not return a call for comment. Lester and Williams, who owns a Shreveport trucking company, have been found responsible by a Caddo District Court judge for dumping 250 truck loads of clay muck on Blount Brothers' rock crusher site in 2006. Lester led the charge in the City Council to shut down the North Hearne Avenue site, which was in his district. The rock crusher had been in business for 16 years when some city officials moved to shut it down over a zoning issue.

As in sealed up? What does that mean.

I'm sure Heddle knows what he's doing. He must have learned from the EcoNav experience.
