A few observations..

1) What's wrong with a company trying to develop a new product? Did they ever guarantee it will work? Should every company that tries and fails be sued? Are they massively indebting themselves? Issuing tons of shares?

2) Quality of videos:
- On computers it's improving, for many it's already good enough
- On mobiles and tablets they are setting it to the lowest quality so you shouldn't even try here. The problem is that the variety of resources phones use is hard for the software to assess, so it automatically switches to lowest quality, but they're working on a solution. We have to wait and see for that.

3) Network shouldn't really make much difference, HVEC uses considerably less bandwidth compared to H2.64. It's processor and memory that are the bottlenecks.

4) The versions aren't final, they keep improving.

5) ["I'm beginning to feel that it won't be the universal solution to anything, though"]

Personally I never thought it would be a universal solution. I see potential in the ad market though because of the stuff they can do in software. A longer shot is music video's as Clipstream offers a new earnings model (sell by the clip) and they can use higher audio quality. If they ever get the ball rolling other opportunities may arise.

6) Know what you own. It's a mini-cap company with one cash cow and one product under development that might not ever be good enough, but if it will, it opens up much larger market possibilities. But you're basically gambling on that. As I argued, I like the risk/reward of that gamble, but reading this board, it's obviously not for everybody. I have some advice for those, simply get out.

7) I think 6) is the most important :)
