PHILADELPHIA — A mobile payment technology company is suing On Track Innovations Ltd. and OTI America Inc., an Israeli company and its American entity, citing alleged breach of contract.
USA Technologies Inc. filed a complaint on March 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they failed to provide the correct technology products to the plaintiff, causing damages to its business.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it sustained financial damages to its business from the defendants' inability to deliver a certain technology that the plaintiff needed for its mobile payment products. The plaintiff holds the defendant companies responsible because they allegedly breached their contractual agreements with the plaintiff by failing to supply them with that technology.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $4,912,600 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Margaret Sherry Lurio and Douglas M. Lurio of Lurio & Associates P.C. in Philadelphia.
