3 tips I've learned if you don't want to be "that guy." Meaning, a guy who can't handle the ups and downs of the stock market:

-Learn who to listen to and who to ignore. There's a lot of noise online and if you can't properly filter it, you're done.

-Don't be run by the worst of your emotions. When a good stock dips, don't invent conspiracy theories and have mini breakdowns every time. Most people lose money in stocks because their overly emotional trading behavior is consistent and predictable. If you believe in the company, you can do very well "buying the weakness" rather than predictably following crowd behavior.

-The only rule is that there are no rules. Sometimes it pays to average down. Other times, it's smart to average up. Sometimes the wise move is selling and taking profits (or losses). Other times, holding for years is the play. There are no firm rules.

Just my two cents. It's very hard to find an exact top or bottom. New investors are usually the ones who are overly worried about timing that perfectly. Typically, I sleep better when backing quality people/companies. OTC is trickier than the big board in that way, but it's not impossible to find.

I'm extremely comfortable with my investment in MXSG. Not a lot of mystery in the last 2 weeks. We saw a successful attempt to walk the price down to grab cheaper shares. Much easier to do when there's low volume. Then predictable crowd behavior followed - people getting nervous and selling into the bid, etc. But it happens both ways. Soon enough, when this stock moves fast the other way again (and it will), the wave of emotion will be much stronger. This was a handful of people while that will be an entire crop of new investors finding an opportunity that we discovered early. Gold is coming out of the ground, numbers will eventually follow, and you'll be very glad you own this stock. I'd buy down here while you can. In the not-too-distant future, you're not going to be sweating the difference between 9 cents and 12 cents.
