It's a good start IMO. TV channel style news streaming fits in with TWTR's instant info model. They've already done the proof of concept with sports event streaming. I expect other channels will jump onboard to try a TWTR desk. The weather channel would be a logical candidate. Maybe ESPN. It would be very convenient to watch TV on a phone. More channels means more users and engagement which means more ad revenue... and that's ads running 24/7.
