Your area may have much cheaper electrical rates.
The North East is high for electrical service.
MY dehumidifier runs 24 -7 to keep up with the moisture.
About 3 gal. a day. The gal. output would probably be higher
if the temperature in my basement was =>65 degrees or the unit
may run less in a 24 hour period with out much more in gallon output.
Is that anywhere near your output?
So to remove 90 gallons of water a month it cost me about $50.00 US.
I should be taking into account 2 air conditioners (12,000 BTU each)
but not used a great deal only on hottest days.
So taking that into account say the cost is more like $35. a month.
Still a lot higher then you pay.
