It doesn't take a lot of imagination to figure out why the subcontractor deal collapsed. Or why ECAB wants some of their money back. Or why the share price dropped in 2016. After you read this press release smile They think they can hide the bad news from us.

What interests me though, is what they can do with prawns. The answer is $62MT per standard sized APM. Or $375,000 profit. Whereas normal/fast rotation of finfish will yield roughly $225,000.

Some good info here, about the future of RAS. No mention of prawns or shrimp though. I can't copy/paste the highlights.

And what's up with eels? The stocking density is twice as high, at 120kg/m3. How hard can it be to sign a big supply contract?

OK, I can copy a few lines.

"Treatment of diseases is another ubiquitous issue in RAS. While some diseases might more or less disappear when rearing in RAS, others may aggravate. An example of the latter is white spot disease"

"The technology must be constantly optimized and assessed, and
the systems operated and managed accordingly in order to ensure economic viable returns in a fluctuating market."
