$myec Did Ken Maciora contact the creditors and suggest that MEC owned property? I think he did, and that he has a big personal axe to grind. Ken's plan to work with the company fell through when the Seergate platform became the better approach to accomplishing goals. I am extremely grateful that MEC rejected his services.

Why was Ken Maciora unable to win his efforts to scam unissued shares from MEC and a 5.5 million award through his lawsuit against the auditors? It's because he didn't have the evidence. Under the PLSRA, he had an individual right to do so. He failed.

Let's get new readers up to speed on Ken Maciora's style.
Quote:
Mr. Kenneth Maciora promoted Empire as a full service investor relations firm which had a network of investor-oriented websites and a full suite of investor awareness services. It also claimed that it had the skills and influence to broaden the company’s investor base and would be able to enhance the company’s ability to attract growth capital and well as improve shareholder value.

Unfortunately, none of this materialized. After Harmonic made the initial US$30,000 cash payment to Empire, Harmonic found it near impossible to get in touch with Empire or Mr. Kenneth Maciora. To date, Harmonic has not received any written updates or breakdown of the services provided and the investors or brokers that had been contacted and updated with information about Harmonic. Nothing has transpired other than excuses or gross over promises and the delivery of zero benefit to the company. When the company asked Empire and Mr. Kenneth Maciora for additional proof of the above mention websites that would be featuring news and information about the company, Mr. Kenneth Maciora said the websites were being updated and were currently not online, given to date the only email address we have for Mr. Kenneth Maciora is empirerelations@aol.com, we doubt the existence of his network and investor awareness services. After months of attempting to settle the above mentioned issues and demand repayment of the initial funds paid to Empire, we have made no progress. Therefore despite best efforts to resolve the dispute, our only option is to pursue legal action against Empire and Mr. Kenneth Maciora.

We are now preparing to sue both Empire Relations Group Inc and Mr. Kenneth Maciora for fraudulent representation. We intend to make sure Empire and Mr Kenneth Maciora never again have the opportunity to use agreements with clients to benefit themselves and damage the reputation and good will of small cap companies.

We have been contacted by other companies who also engaged Empire, that have had the same experience with Mr. Maciora and we are asking any other companies that have worked with Empire or Mr. Kenneth Maciora to contact the company and advise if they have had similar experiences.
