I like profit over production and revenue....let's play a little with how the market is going to look come rec. In all likelihood the provinces will control mj at the wholesale level, in other words they will be the middle man. All producers wishing to sell in a particular province would need to expose their mj to the wholesale market, competing with each other to provide their mj to the masses. Those lps with higher costs of production either squeeze their margin to compete or sell at higher prices but as anyone knows as price goes up you lose lower segments of the market. Is their weed that much better to command a premium? I'm not too sure that's the case. So in my opinion those companies not focused on positive cash flow through lower costs of production will actually have an advantage over those that grow more. This is a manufacturing business, not an online retailing business.
