they are not paying themselves without reaching milestones ***for options that are milestone based****; they paid off canx without reaching milestones which was the thing i believe you are referring to. my theory is they wanted to get rid of the 5% royalty but it could be something else.
now they did change some of their own milestones to make them easier to achieve this is true. then on the other hand they have a bunch of non milestone based options though but those never had milestones attached to them.
