He got involved in PCYC and invested a bunch of his money to finance PCYC at very low prices because of his interest and enthusiasm for Xcytrin. If it wasn't luck that Ibrutinib fell into their laps from the prior ousted CEO bringing it in, then I don't know what to call it. Either way, I wouldn't invest in PLSE just because he's putting a lot of money into it any more than I would have invested in many of Patrick Soon's recent public ventures, just because he struck it big with Abraxis. Duggan is no doubt bold and confident in himself. How he spun pcyc into a $20b takeout from near insolvency is textbook.
