It's just a technical glitch

How do I know?

First of all, hundreds of tickers don't get legitimately halted on 1 day, that's just silly

Secondly, count the tickers whose first letter is A-L (11 tickers)

Now count the tickers whose first letter is M-Z (257 tickers)

As you get deeper into the alphabet moving from M thru Z, there are greater numbers of halts -- R/S/T > M/N/O

There is clearly a strong correlation with the latter half of the alphabet

This is purely a technical glitch
